![]() ![]() Once you learn the back roads you don't have to deal with the crowds of people or traffic. We chose this cabin for the location and that worked out great. This was our third time renting a cabin in Smoky Mountains, but our first time with USA Cabins. Even with the "little negatives," I would definitely stay there again IF they install Wi-Fi. The hot tub is straight-wired which means the jets run 24/7 and it is right outside the bedroom window. I have bad hip issues so I can be a good judge in saying the beds were very comfortable! The hot tub was very clean also. I took my own pillow so it wasn't a big issue for us. Some of the extra blankets and pillows need to be replaced, as the extra pillow in the closet looked like it was urine-stained. The cabin, for the most part, was clean besides needing a deep cleaning to get rid of cobwebs. It's not a safe feeling knowing you couldn't call for help should you need it. ![]() However, one of my friends has AT&T and she did have sporadic service at times. The main "negative" about this cabin is there is NO Wi-Fi and absolutely no cell service if you use Verizon towers. It didn't affect our stay, just a bit of an eye sore. The location is great, other than it being beside a resident cabin which was a little ran down and had an old junky truck sitting beside our picnic table/fire pit area. ![]() My friends and I had such an amazing time at this cabin, on our annual girls trip. But hey- that's the whole purpose for showing up, right? A Hidden Mountain is a great value, and the ultimate choice for a minimalist vacation, with a location convenient to Cades Cove, Townsend, Wears Valley, and Pigeon Forge. You won't be checking your work email here. The ground level is somehow always hotter than upstairs, and there is no trace of a wifi or cell signal, save for weird times and locations on the property. This is truly "Isolation Station," yet it's less than five minutes from the highway! On the down side, the hot tub has been abused and is rather temperamental. Resident neighbors were practically invisible, and the nearest cabin is a good distance thru the trees. You'd be hard pressed to find a more secluded property in the Smokies. Housekeeping has done a good job of keeping things clean, and most amenities are fully functional, though the Foosball table has probably seen the end of its career. What a breath of fresh air!!! This little cabin is the perfect getaway location when you want to get away from EVERYTHING! Yeah, it's a bit basic, but it's complete. ![]()
